Overview
At 4Life Education, we offer the King’s Trust Achieve Qualification as part of our commitment to supporting young people both academically and personally. This flexible, accredited programme is designed to help learners develop essential skills in a practical, engaging way.
Students can access this award for the age of 11. The acheive award is available at Entry 3, Level 1 and Level 2.
The King’s Trust Achieve Qualification is a flexible, accredited programme that allows learners to work towards three different levels: Award, Certificate, and Diploma. Each level requires the completion of a set number of guided learning hours (GLH) and units.
The Achieve Qualification focuses on key areas such as:
- Personal and Social Development
- Employability and Work Skills
- Teamwork and Communication
- Enterprise and Citizenship
- Health and Wellbeing
Through project-based learning and real-world challenges, students build confidence, improve resilience, and gain a nationally recognised qualification that supports their next steps in education, training, or employment.

Personal and Social Development
This area supports learners in understanding themselves, building self-esteem, and developing emotional intelligence. Through activities and discussions, students explore topics such as setting personal goals, understanding emotions, managing relationships, and overcoming challenges. The aim is to help young people grow in confidence, take responsibility for their choices, and develop a positive mindset that will support them throughout life.
Employability and Work Skills
Students gain the practical skills and knowledge needed to prepare for the workplace. This includes learning how to write a CV, fill out job applications, prepare for interviews, and understand employer expectations. The unit also covers key workplace behaviours such as punctuality, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. By the end of this unit, learners feel more confident about their future and better prepared for employment or further training.
Teamwork and Communication
Effective communication and the ability to work well with others are essential in every aspect of life. In this area, learners participate in group activities and challenges that develop their interpersonal skills. They learn how to express themselves clearly, listen actively, resolve conflicts, delegate tasks, and lead or support others. This helps build confidence in social settings and improves collaboration in both academic and real-world environments.
Enterprise and Citizenship
This unit encourages learners to think creatively and act responsibly within their communities and wider society. Students are introduced to the basics of enterprise by planning and running small-scale business or fundraising projects. Alongside this, they explore their role as active citizens, learning about democracy, rights and responsibilities, volunteering, and how to make a positive impact locally and globally. It’s a powerful blend of business awareness and social responsibility.
Health and Wellbeing
A healthy mind and body are vital for success in education and life. This unit helps students understand the importance of physical and mental health. Topics include nutrition, exercise, managing stress, understanding mental health, forming healthy relationships, and making informed lifestyle choices. Learners are encouraged to reflect on their own wellbeing and develop strategies to support a balanced, healthy life.

King’s Trust Level 1 Award in Developing Resilience
4Life Education is proud to offer the King’s Trust Level 1 Award in Developing Resilience, a nationally recognised qualification designed to help young people build confidence, overcome challenges, and prepare for life and work. This award supports learners in understanding what resilience means, how to manage setbacks, and how to stay motivated in the face of change. It’s ideal for those aged 14–16 and beyond who want to strengthen their emotional wellbeing and practical life skills.
Through engaging activities and reflection, learners will explore how to:
- Cope with stress and pressure
- Make confident decisions
- Set goals and stay focused
- Recognise their strengths and areas for growth
Completing this award can help learners:

Functional Skills- English and Maths
Functional Skills Qualifications (Entry 3 – Level 2)
At 4Life Education, we are excited to offer Functional Skills qualifications in partnership with Pass Functional Skills, covering levels from Entry 3 up to Level 2 in English and Maths.
We deliver the curriculum for entry level one and two, although we do not enter for examinations for these.
