Safeguarding
At 4 Life Education, the safety and wellbeing of our pupils is our highest priority.
We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people in our care. We believe that all pupils have the right to learn in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment, free from harm, abuse, or neglect.
As an alternative provision, we recognise the additional vulnerabilities that some of our pupils may face. Our dedicated staff team is trained to identify and respond to safeguarding concerns swiftly and effectively. We work closely with families, local authorities, and external agencies to ensure every child is protected and supported.
We operate a robust safeguarding policy that is reviewed regularly in line with statutory guidance, including:
- Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE-2024)
- Working Together to Safeguard Children
- The Prevent Duty
- Local Safeguarding Partnership procedures
All staff are expected to share our commitment to safeguarding. We follow safer recruitment practices and all adults working with pupils undergo enhanced DBS checks.
